What's wrong with using Bluetooth speakers for music production?

I was told that Bluetooth speakers aren’t the best option for producing music. Is there a reason for this or does it not matter that much?

Bluetooth speakers are not something you typically come across in music studios and there are various reasons for this. Latency, compressed codecs (degraded audio quality), and connection instability all come into play here.

You’re better off using a hardwired speaker connection that involves an audio interface and studio monitors; this will allow you to listen to music in an uncompressed audio format with minimal latency through a reliable connection.

The audio interface will convert the digital signal from your computer into an analog signal that the studio monitors are capable of playing back.

Some budget-friendly recommendations include a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and a pair of Kali Audio LP-6s.
